Cycling Australia Cycling Australia or CA (formally the Australian Cycling Federation) is the national governing body for bicycle racing in Australia, and represents the interests of all the affiliated cycling clubs and State federations. CA is a member of the UCI and the Ocenia Cycling Federation (OCC).

Cycle Sports Victoria CycleSport Victoria, CSV, is the peak governing body for both organised competitive, and recreational, cycling within Victoria, Australia. CSV is an affiliate of Cycling Australia (CA) and the UCI (International Cycling Union) and currently has 55 affiliated clubs (in which PCC is one of those clubs) and over 6000 members throughout Victoria.

Australian Institute of Sports road and track cycling programs have been at the forefront of much of research carried out on cyclists' conditioning, and on the scientific work that has gone into producing faster, lighter and better bicycles from which every cyclists can benefit in one way or another.

World's fastest man on a bike?Well the answer depends on what you mean by bike and whether or not the maximum speed is assisted by gravity, another vehicle or whether or not you are willing to admit that recumbents are bicycles. Its fun finding out though. See for example Sam Whittingham

In Australia power assisted bicycles or tricycles are classified as a bicycle if it has less than 200W of power. This then excludes the Segway even though it has two wheels!

Be careful of the bonk! Yes, thats right its an important and very real fact. A condition caused by a depletion of glycogen stores in the muscles. On your rides always take enough food and especialy water. Or alternativley always keep a couple of dollars in your saddle bag for an energy bar at the next shop. What is a false flat? Is it a psuedo flat tyre? A slow leak?...Think more along the lines of a road ridden that seems to be flat or even downhill that really has a slight positive gradient. This is what some cyclists term as as a flase flat
