Welcome to Preston Cycling Club

Preston Cycling Club (PCC) Track and Club HQ is located at the corner of Cuthbert Road and Fordham St Reservoir, Victoria which is adjacent to Reservoir Leisure Centre. Committee meetings take place the first Monday each month except January. Meeting time begins at 7:30PM. All members and prospective new members are welcome. We would love to see you there!

PCC hosts two major events each year open to Cycling Australia racing-license holders. The Junior Carnival - a track race for juniors usually held around February each year and the Mountain Classic - a road race for Elite and Masters men and women usually held around July each year. As well PCC hosts its own road and track club championships, and is involved with and officiates in various other road and track race events throughout the year both within and outside the club. PCC is also a club partner member of the Northern Combine Cycling.

PCC is one of nine member clubs of the Northern Combine. The Northern Combine is a partnership of 9 Cycling Australia affiliated clubs who conduct regular road, track and criterium racing for cyclists of all ages in and around the Melbourne and the northern region. The racing caters for riders of all ages from Juniors through to riders in their 60's.

What will I find on this website? This site has information about our club, its activities and cycling news as well as the formal side of cycling administration in Australia for members and prospective members. PCC is actively strengthening its position through membership. You may not really want to know about the administrative side straight up but you will probably want to know the allocation of registration money when you commit to join this club.

If you are at all interested in cycling competitively or recreationally at whatever age, and think you would like to reap the benefits of belonging to a club, then I suggest that you come along to one of our meetings or events or make a start and contact us. Information of events, races and meetings can be found on the following pages.

Races and Rides

Races take place on the roads in Melbourne, greater Melbourne and regional Victoria. Generally roads remain shared with other traffic. Although volunteer officials are often available for both rides and races to facilitate traffic at key intersections, riders' vigilance is always required. Racing and riding is not restricted to our own club events. See our news and links pages for further action... More
